Sarah Davis illustrated her first picture book in 2008, and in 2010 quit her day job and began illustrating and designing books full time. Since then, she has illustrated 37 books, designed 11, and been shortlisted for 33 major awards in Australia and New Zealand.
Sarah’s first book as author, illustrator AND designer will be released by HarperCollins in 2019. She is also proud to be an ambassador for Room to Read, and the Illustrator Coordinator for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (Australia East/NZ), also known as SCBWI.
In addition to her illustration work, Sarah is now Associate Art Director at Walker Books Australia.

Blake lives in Queensland and he is a keen drawer, photography enthusiast and interested in all
things technology related. Blake particularly enjoys drawing buildings and using watercolours to
create Australian landscape scenes. Blake is looking forward to learning more drawing techniques
this year as well as upgrading his camera.
Ruby is 8 years old (will be nine very soon!) and lives in the
Eastern Suburbs of Sydney with her mum, dad, brother and Golden Retriever. Ruby has a wide range of creative interests, including drawing, painting, ceramics, sewing, crafting and scrapbooking.
Ruby also loves dancing and spends about 7 hours a week in the studio where she attends ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary dance classes.
