Justin Monjo is an award-winning writer for stage and screen, best known for his stage adaptation of Tim Winton's novel Cloudstreet and his work as head writer and co-executive producer on cult television series Farscape.
For Australian television, Justin has also written the mini-series Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door, The Code for ABC/Playmaker, and the highly rated Seven Network mini-series Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS. Justin was a co-creator of the high-rating telemovie The Alice, and worked on several series of John Edward’s Rush for Network Ten.
Justin’s theatre credits include Romeo is Bleeding (produced in Australia and the US), and That Eye, The Sky, adapted from Tim Winton’s novel of the same name.
Justin's feature films credits include Dirt Music, based on a novel by Tim Winton and the upcoming feature Jungle, starring Daniel Radcliffe and directed by Greg McLean. Justin's latest film, Storm Boy, is in cinemas now.
